The Bag Bugs

We wanted to expand, and expand we did with a new line of REALLY cute, useful, and sturdy new handbags/purses. Using recovered clothing articles made from denim, corduroy, khakis, and other durable fabrics, we have designed a line of hand bags that you are sure to love and want one of each.

The "eco-friendly" part of the bag is the pants! I was looking at my daughter's jeans with holes in the knees and mourning the loss of yet another pair. Suddenly, out of nowhere and quite like a freight train, the idea came to me: Why not recycle these jeans and make a purse? What came about after several prototypes and months of experiments are the bags you see launched and sold on our website now!

It is so exciting to introduce to you these bags! You can order them in one of two ways: First, as they are made, they are put on the site to be sold as is. However, once sold, that particular bag is left up for all to see and maybe say, "hey! I love that color scheme and size, I want one like it!" So second, you then can order the bag with the understanding that the one you see is sold, but you will receive one similar in size and scheme. This is a great way to ensure that you will still receive a one of a kind, handmade, and totally "you" handbag.

We look forward to sharing these bags with you and hope that you will find yourself here over and over again to get just one more!
